“Manyo Ink in Love”, a special series celebrating the 5th anniversary, inspired by a poem about love and turning the nature that appears in the poem into ink
In 1911, Kyugoro Sakata and his younger brother started the company “Sakata Manufacturing”, which only produced fountain pen nibs. Later in 1917
the company moved to Hamadacho and officially began producing fountain pens as a whole, and the name was changed to “Sailor Pen Sakata-Manufactory Co., Ltd.”
